God Speaks Light Into Darkness
“And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.”
Genesis 1:3Darkness was not removed by effort, struggle, or explanation — it was removed by the voice of God. When God spoke, light obeyed. From the very beginning, Scripture shows us that darkness is never permanent when God is present.
Many of us step into a new year carrying shadows from the last one — unanswered questions, weariness, or quiet fear. Yet the promise remains the same: God still speaks light into places that feel formless and void. When He speaks, change begins, even if it happens before we can fully see it.

A Prayer for Today
Lord, speak Your light into every dark place I carry today. Where there is fear, bring peace; where there is confusion, bring clarity. Help me trust that when You speak, light always follows.
